v National Youth Volunteering Programme, consultancy support to groups
WSA Community Consultants worked with Compendium Consulting to deliver a consultancy project to v to support 17 funded groups through the strand 2 direct delivery in volunteering and 1 group funded to deliver strand 1 vteams delivering to each local authority area.
The direct support was tailored to each group and the key areas were identified as a result of assessment and panel feedback on application. Each group was supported via a discussion paper, initial meeting and then further intervention through phone calls and email to submit elements of their project development and background information prior to v signing off the grants.A full evaluation of the process containing qualitative and quantitative analysis was produced for v to feedback on the work and assist v in the ongoing support and monitoring of the groups.
